Overview
Vegan Nomad is a new café based in Canggu, Bali. Their specialty is vegan food that combines flavors of the East and West. While living in Bali, I took on the project of designing an food delivery mobile app for the local café.
The product owner defined requirements for the minimum viable product (MVP). It will include features such as fast delivery, direct contact, order tracking, pay using credit, debit card or cash. These became the functional requirements.
User experience
To know more about my target audience and to build empathy with the users, I interviewed ten (10) professionals who work in different co-working spaces in Canggu, Bali. As a result I was able do define user roles, demographics, psychographics, needs and requirements. My focus was to target the professional nomads that are based in Canggu, Bali as these were the core customers according to the café.

Clean and simple UI
It should be simple to order food. A clean design without clutter makes it easier for the user to find what they are are looking for.
Bright colors
Green is a down-to-earth color that reflects nature, veganism and energizes the design. Warm colors like orange are used to reflect creativity, enthusiasm and health. It also commands attention.
